Abstract:
The supply chain for high quality zircon products continues to change in relation to mined heavy mineral sands, calcining, milling and sizing capabilities. An examination of the current, and a forecast of future supply chain dynamics for this critical raw material for the manufacture of superalloy, ferrous and non-ferrous investment castings is presented within. A brief look at zircon history will allow us to present a clear picture for the future.
