Abstract:
Besides the known high-speed drying technology for ceramic shells MK Technology has produced autoclaves since 2008. As proven systems can still be improved there are a number of innovations simplifying the process and ensuring a high level of reproducibility and accuracy.
1. Reduced shellcracks
- Fast filling: fully loaded in 4 seconds
- Symmetrical and aerodynamically optimized steam inlet
- Optimized pressure release: flow can be varied depending on shells’ form and size
2. Clean operation
- Movable wax cabinet with automatic closing roof
- Electrically heated wax pipe
- Big Bag system
- Buffer
- Automatic condense water
3. Increased lifetime of vessels and components
- Four-stage water treatment
Outside:
- Water softening system
- Monitoring and pH-control
Inside:
- Salt monitoring and control
- Automatic de-calcification
Optional: 24 or 72 hours operation without supervision
In practice the new technology has splendidly proven its worth and is applied by many investment casting companies.
